Vocal Concert | Lenten Spirituals & Gospel Songs

Faith Lutheran Church of Naples will feature a special event that you will not want to miss. Director of Music J. Matthew Swingle (tenor) will present a concert with Gulfshore Opera soloist Lauryn Kay (mezzo soprano). This concert is titled “Lenten Spirituals and Gospel Songs” and will feature some of the most heartfelt and emotional songs of the spirituals genre. They will be accompanied by local piano master, Jodie de Salvo. This concert will feature songs such as “Were You there,” “He Never Said a Mumbalin’ Word,” “Deep River,” “Stan’ Still, Jordan,” and much more! This will be a great event full of solos and duets. This event is free and open to the public.
