Trinity-by-the-Cove Episcopal Church will host Brandon Patrick George, flute, and Aaron Diehl, piano, as they present their concert “Songs of Black America.” Brandon Patrick George is a leading flute soloist and GRAMMY nominated chamber musician whose repertoire extends from the Baroque era to today. He is the flutist of Imani Winds, and has been praised as āelegantā by The New York Times, as a āvirtuosoā by The Washington Post, and as a āknockout musicianā by The Philadelphia Inquirer. Since his debut release in 2013, pianist-composer Aaron Diehl has mystified listeners with his layered artistry. He was named the 2011 Cole Porter fellow of the American Pianist Association, and has been described in the New York Times as āa composer worth watching.
